Dry saunas: Dry saunas have typical temperatures ranging from 70 to 100° C in an environment inducing relaxation and promotes sweating.. Building a sauna is a complicated process. The cabin should be dry-resistant (above 90 ° C with less than 20% moisture) and for a wet sauna, it must withstand temperatures of 50 ° C and humidity up to 60%.
It is very difficult to find the type of wood that meets these requirements, so that the type of wood selected should be resistant to high temperature and humidity. Sauna manufacturers generally use wood with the following specifications:
