Box House is conceived as a flexible living space for a small family built into the side of a hill in Hayama near Tokyo. All the rooms open plan but separated by split levels. Lots of windows connect the spaces to the garden and hillside. The bathroom has a window to the living room and another to the garden to allow views straight out.
