This Victorian harbour-side townhouse is home to a family of surfers, paddleboarders and skateboarders so needed to be both practical and stylish. The brief was to reflect the stunning coastal location, use reclaimed materials and some of the client's own pieces, and to create an open plan kitchen diner with the 'wow' factor for entertaining. Reclaimed parquet and old scaffolding boards made for a dining space to be proud of. Ample texture was introduced through wood panelling and boucle coir flooring. Vintage pieces were sourced especially, including the pendant lights used above the dining table.
Reclaimed, grey washed wood and oxidised iron combined to make this stunning table and built in seating. Softened with an array of textured fabrics, funky wallpaper and vintage glass light shades.
