Pavilion Hilltop, Indochine Style

Indochina architectural style is the creation of French architects. This style was inspired by Indian, Vietnamese, Chinese and French colonial style and developed in the 1920s in Vietnam.

Typical features of this style are Adora Art Hotel, Hanoi Metropole, Hanoi Opera House and the Palace of the Gulf of Tonkin.

Indochine style uses native architectural elements such as the use of dark color wood, european wainscoating and black-and-white Indochinese motif tiles.
