Our latest project is a new family home in Waterkloof, Pretoria.
Construction commenced late last year and has proved to be one of our most challenging, yet greatly satisfying developments, due to the site's access issues and restrictive conditions.
The design style marries two design concepts: contemporary/ minimalist and a classic almost Victorian look. We are very proud of the progress made and look forward to revealing the stunning, finished product as soon as construction is complete.
The lower section of the house is almost complete, and the roof construction has commenced and progressing well.
Natural stone cladding and a red selected semi-face brick, will be combined with plaster and panted panels. The cladding has commenced on detailed areas such as the arched way from Courtyard leading east and the planters on the 1st floor, plastering on the lower levels has also taken place, although plastering is only done in certain areas to compliment the design style.
Construction of the lower section of the house is almost complete, and the roof cladding is now in process. (Compliments of the Contractor – CPM Projects)

Construction is progressing well as can be viewed on below aerial photographs.
Due to the extend and complexity of the excavations that allowed compliance to height regulations and restrictions, space is quite restricted and hampers progress of construction.
the lower section of the house is taking shape and preparation is in place to commence with the roof construction, as soon as the upper levels are at wall plate height.
The sprawling layout is a direct result of the single storey restriction on 50% of the site and combined with the specific space and accommodation requirements of the client. This created smaller courtyard areas that allow natural light and privacy to various part of the residence.
With most part of the living and bedrooms facing due North, the house will be well lit and have maximum views over the greenbelt area. Sufficient lawn space is being envisaged for the kids to play, while they are growing up.
