For the couple who loves design in everything they
do… .designer & engineer by profession. Being a small 3x3 room, it got to be minimal in aesthetic & maximally efficient. Also being a rented house, they didn’t want to indulge in the change of floor or ceilings. Thus the design intervention was to set up a layout that works the best & have a palette to have a cozy ambience to the room. The highlights of the room were its furniture. The side table… which they call ‘our blue side table ‘: it had a blend of their blue & the earthy solid oak, along with Moorish inspired selection of coasters & a minimalist table lamp. The other element was the large mirror on one of the walls. The large blue framed mirror gives depth to the room & renders their dressing area. For the numerous selfie moments of the beautiful couple. Considering the work life of the two, they needed a little study area as well in the room. Arranged in a linear manner on one side of the room. Tuck in one corner of the room it generates more space & provides a cozy corner to work. The blue top of the console and table as seen in the picture below creates a soothing rhythm.
