Situated in the centre of Brighton, this relatively new build house was in need of some character and warmth. Taking cues from the client's Art Deco styled furniture, the new scheme was developed to maximise the impact of some of the existing pieces, such as a gloss black piano and period display cabinet. British designed and printed wallpaper spans the staircase wall, linking the two floors of the house with an injection of teal and gold. Metallic accents continue downstairs with soft furnishings made from vintage fabrics, reclaimed light fittings and a new parquet styled flooring which warms the space.
