A show flat with a very modern touch to it. Our theme for this project was all curves & to create maximum space out of a 1 BHK flat of 543 sq ft. as all show flat are mend to solve one purpose, which is to attract more customers. But here at AD'D we believe that with space comes aesthetic part also. So we have created a space keeping practical side of the flat in mind and not compromising on the beauty of the same. We have tried few DIY's also for this project which was difficult task to get it done all alone without any help, at the end it came up very well.
Cost of the project was 11,16,822 INR
A dressing unit of Arabic style with modern outlook.. Handcrafted wooden frame with metallic white PU coating on it. This dressing unit solve the purpose of a dressing area and small study cum utility table. when you have very limited space to accommodate all the basic needs a family and not forgetting the aesthetic side of it we come up with this kind designer cum practical spaces in our home.
bed headboard with a combination of mirror and silk cloth in a combination of chesterfield pattern & beveled brown mirror, which gives a traditional feel also at the same time gives modern approach to the headboard..
this master bedroom is in circular shape keeping the theme of the flat in mind. this bed is given circular shape to give more space in the bedroom without harming the practicality of it. this bed can easily accommodate two people in it. 6'-6" in diameter with upholstered head board with huge cushions sleeping pillows and throw pillows on it..
we have made a round shape false ceiling which is dropping towards the front side. this ceiling at the back is straight but in the front it takes a curve downwards.it has AEP lighting with three 6 watt led spot light and some reverse lighting also..
A uniquely made window highlighter of wood PU coating of metallic white color. This window design was an idea to stop the regular though of people of a square or rectangular window so came up this concept of without disturbing the actual structure of window we made curve on the wall of the same. with a space in between so the curtain can slide into it, without breaking the view outside bedroom..
This wardrobe was designed by AD'D specially to give more space to the end user and also to enhance the look of the bedroom. This wardrobe was given name "CURVY" while it was on the process of making, as the name says it all this wardrobe have no edges only curves be it doors or the body. We have made four huge single doors with brown mirror pasted on it with a huge storage space of 80 sq ft. with two huge drawers and all the accessories.
This is a very unique kind of ceiling highlighter pattern we have used here, glass pieces of 3/4" x 3/4" with silver coating at the back.. approximately we have used 3246 pieces of the same to make this dome which is between small passage of bathroom, toilet and bedroom with a attractive dome shaped lighting in the middle..
This ceiling is decent and modern in looks and functionality. We have used 3 watt focus light and aluminium extrusion profiles (AEP). These profile lights are very unique in their own way, also energy efficient too. Instead of those LED panel lights which has very specific area where the light can be put, these AEP stretches in length and spread their light throughout the room without highlighting a specific area.
Here we have tried a different way of lighting in bathroom. Though we have given ceiling lights also with those light we have used AEP above the shower level and have given blue light effect which gives a feel of comfort and relaxation by not not wasting the space also to enhance the look we have used rustic finish tiles on wall with 4mm gaps filled with metallic epoxy of contrast color.
living area of this flat was not of that big area so we had to use mirrors to enhance the space and look of it, with very minimal and solid designs of furniture. On the ceiling we have used only aluminium extrusion profile lights only in a very unique design. We have highlighted only one specific wall of living room and rest of the living area just compliments each other by the use of mirrors and very bold color DIY art above sofa, which breaks the monotonous feel of the living room and create positive vibes of the living space. Show flats have mirrors everyone know that, to break that thought we have used random shaper mirrors with a gap of 4mm filled with metallic epoxy in between of contrast color. Our sofa is of chesterfield design made of high quality velvet in pastel color tone. the main door is also painted in a pastel tone from the back, on the front side it is of metallic pearl white deco paint with abstract design made of golden acrylic. our living area window also has the same curve type of window panel which is bedroom.
