These shelves were designed by my architect client for his home. The shelving was constructed using MDF for sides and desktop and American Walnut veneered MDF for the shelves. Under the desktop there is a cupboard that is used to house a computer, the door of the cupboard has slots cut into it to allow ventilation. The stained softwood ceiling slats and wall mirror were used as a design feature to visually divide the room into 2 areas.

With This project was commissioned to provide storage space for ornaments, books, drinks and art works. This was constructed to my clients design & specification with some input from myself. The thinking behind the white paint finish, rather than using Oak throughout was so the unit did not dominate the room. Painted MDF, American White Oak veneered MDF and solid American White Oak were used in the construction of this project. It was finished using white oil based paint with the Oak parts finished using water based satin lacquer. All the doors & the flap have push catches leaving them free of door handles.

This project was commissioned to provide storage space for wine, glasses, books and ornaments in an attic room. The client wanted to utilise the space above the worktop to store their wine and glasses. Bottles are supported by curved cut outs. The cupboard next to the wine rack has 3 toughened glass shelves. This cupboard has a toughened glass door which is hinged using sprung hinges. A cut-out acts as the 'handle'. The TV stand has a drop-down flap which is secured by a push catch, leaving the flap free of a door handle. The alcove on the right has 3 floating shelves. American White Oak veneered MDF and solid American White Oak were used in the construction of this project. It was finished using water based satin lacquer.
