Beautiful and truly unique, The Bandstand is located on Brighton's vibrant seafront.
The Victorian Bandstand first opened in 1884 and was restored to its original specification and reopened in 2009.
Cutty Sark was one of the last tea clippers to be built and one of the fastest. Rebuilt after a fire burnt her down in 2007, the ship has now been restored to her full glory. This image won National Historic Ships runner-up award 2014.
A living, bustling temple to New York's illustrious past, I love gazing at the celestial ceiling mural above the vast main concourse.
From there I slurped some Kumamotos at the legendary Oyster Bar downstairs, and washed them down with a Manhattan at the swank Campbell Apartment. Great day out!
Gullfoss is a waterfall located in the canyon of Hvítá River in southwest Iceland. It’s one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country. The wide Hvítá rushes southward and about a kilometre above the falls it flows down into a wide curved staircase and then abruptly plunges into the deep crevice you can see in this image.
It's an amazing sight and the power of the water is incredible. Iceland is home to many beautiful waterfalls, glaciers, geysirs and meltwaters.
The Peak is the highest point on Hong Kong Island and affords incredible views across the city which is illuminated up each night with an impressive light display. Beyond the mountains to the north of the city, the rest of China simmers and strains.
Everything you've heard about Hong Kong's restlessness and energy is dramatically reaffirmed by the view from The Peak. For me it was the highlight of a trip to this diverse and photogenic city.
My hometown of Lancaster is set beautifully within the Lancashire hills. It's a place where there's often a lot of rain, but on the plus side that means there are more rainbows!

One of my favourite places in London, Richmond Park is beautiful at any time, but catching the cold early morning mist just after sunrise really adds something to the picture
The view from the top of One New Change across to St. Paul's Cathedral in London beautifully juxtaposes the old with the new in this city
The view from the top of One New Change across to St. Paul's Cathedral in London as the sun sets, the sky turns a deep purple and the neon glow of the traffic and lights below illuminate the streets
Set against a cloudy sky, the pods of the London Eye seem to barely move as the wheel goes round slowly.
The Tulip Staircase in The Queen's House, Greenwich, was the first self supporting spiral staircase in the world.
The Cinque Terre coastal route is a beautiful and challenging 18km coastal walk which took me 2 days to complete. Vernazza is one of the five towns that make up the Cinque Terre region of Italy's Adriatic coast. Over the centuries, villagers carefully built terraces on the rugged, steep landscape right up to the cliffs and linked the towns together. Today this still exists as a beautiful coastal walk that can be done at a leisurly speed over a couple of days, stopping off at each of the villages and enjoying the relaxed atmosphere, excellent seafood and beautiful rainbow coloured houses.
In 1997, the Cinque Terre was recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and in 1999 the National Park of the Cinque Terre was born.
One of the few London underground stations that has won architectural awards and its easy to see why as you wander beneath bast metal pipes and futuristic frameworks
