The house has been restored and re-adapted from a Raj era building. The visual language used in the architectural shell of this building was a blend of traditional Indian architecture and the colonial architecture of the Raj era, the client wanted the Interiors of the project to be a continuation of the same aesthetic. We were involved in the Interior design & styling of the project and we proposed a blend of Victorian and classical styles with the contemporary. An attempt is made to modernize ornamentation like fireplaces and cornices and use them sparingly.
