Bought an 800mm (door and fixed panel) from lakes 2 years ago through Tilesplus in NI. The fixed panel glass seal failed after only 2 years via what I can only describe as shrinkage. The seal shrank away from 3 corners forming an unsightly stretched looking radius sadly 2 of them at the bottom, requiring me to silicone the outside bottom corners. Tilesplus basically seemed to deem this as acceptable service life and obtained a clear plastic bag containing a replacement seal for me, neither did they provide any instruction on how I would go about safely dismantling the panel and re installing the new seal properly. I really should have been supplied with a replacement panel. I feel sure Lakes being the level of manufacturer that they are should have a build SOP (standard op procedure) for this highlighting the best method and clamps or tools that maybe required. Poor customer service from Tilesplus and poor quality control from Lakes.

Dealt with the customer service, bought through a bathroom company but something was built wrong. They quickly identified the problem and replaced all the part affected. Dealt with Craig was very helpful.

Fantastic service from this company, I asked for help in obtaining parts for my somewhat elderly shower cabinet and Stuart in customer services has just been amazing. I now have the parts I need which were free of charge and the cabinet doors are working like new. Thank you so much , rare to find service like this!

I've had a Lakes' Off-set quadrant shower enclosure for about 10 years and am totally happy with it. Over time the door seals get somewhat 'yellow'. I emailed Lakes with my shower details and asked if they supply replacement seals, a set of 4 pairs. I received a reply the next day saying that they do, and that they are free-of-charge but have £29.99 packaging and carrier charge. I paid and the seals arrived 2 working days later. Superb service, thank you Lakes, with special thanks to Haley.

I purchased a shower door a few months ago and strangely I had a small issue with the new door. After contacting customer services, an engineer John called at the house in October and even though only a small fault that I could have found a work around, he quickly ordered a new replacement door which arrived two days later. Fantastic service and a very high quality product. Thoroughly recommend. Kevin.

Brilliant service. Requested info about parts for a shower we purchased some years ago and if they still sold them and the parts turned up free of charge a few days later. Would 100% reccomend.

Happy so far with our newly installed shower enclosure. Pleased that the corrugated cardboard packaging can be recycled or composted.

Had numerous problems with Lakes shower order for customer, from items being late/damaged in transit, to poor comms pre/post order, plus customer services being slow to do their job after lockdown, not an experience I wish to repeat, so won't be using them again..! :-/

Love Lakes, huge product range for my customers, great customer support and after sales - never let me down and in 5 years I've had 1 door go wrong and lakes went out 2 days later to fix.....perfect. thanks - Nathan @ Active Plumbing Cirencester

I had a new shower cubicle installed which was found to be scratched, so a replacement was fitted, which was also scratched along with chips in the glass. It took a further 4 boxes of units to be sent, for us to be able to make just one shower cubicle that was fit for purpose when installed. In total it took 6 units to get one good one, and 5 weeks of hassle and inconvenience. I also sent 2 emails that I got no response from and made 9 phone calls, as no one ever got back to me. Lakes say they have done everything asked of them, and have offered a ' cleaning pack ' as a gesture of goodwill, which I think is a pathetic offer for all the hassle and inconvenience I have had to endure. I would not recommend this company, if this is the way they treat their customers.

You don't often get service this good! We had a problem with the rollers on a shower door installed in 2006. The supplier no longer existed but their book was taken over by Lakes so, not expecting much, I emailed on the off chance they could identify it for me. They got back to me the next day with the information - (the next day! I couldn't believe it) I ordered the parts and had an email the same day that they had been dispatched. There was no charge for the items and the whole process from start to finish only took three days. I wholeheartedly recommend this company and will definitely use them again

It is not often that a company is this good. We had a small problem with a shower door we bought 5 years ago. Lakes Bathrooms quickly sent a spare part at no cost and no questions. This sort of personal service is of an bygone era yet somehow Lakes can still afford to give this level of unmatched service. Fabulous, thank you.
