The Corporate Office in Hyderabad reflects the client’s taste and personality; as well as the corporate philosophy adopted by the company. Located in the upscale locality of Jubilee Hills, the interior of the 13880 sq ft office for one of the topmost property developers in Hyderabad makes a powerful impression; one of high-class elegance and quiet dignity.
The interior work was to be scheduled in two phases. The first phase (now ready) had to primarily incorporate the directors’ cabins, the open office plan for the marketing department along with the associated facility of a seminar hall. The ground floor totally occupies an area of over 4500 sq ft; out of which about 2700 sq ft was used up for these facilities.
The entrance lobby is grand and welcoming; making a statement in style and simplicity. Photographs of some of the past projects successfully executed by the company have been made into a collage; placed elegantly at the side of the lobby extension which ultimately will lead to the staircase to access the upper levels. The entrance is through a small vestibule where the contrast of white walls and furniture is accentuated by the wooden flooring and the green of plants all around. Clear glass panes help to optimise the natural light available; as well as offer views towards the greenery in the empty adjacent plot. Largely white and glossy, green and brown in natural tones and blue artwork are used as highlights. The blue artwork at the back of the reception desk is a matted piece with light and dark blue squares in Nuwood painted induco.
The detailing and material of the wooden entrance pathway is repeated as a ceiling panel, a wall partition, and as a bench in the lobby extension. The volume of the large columns has been broken by cladding them with Nuwood and finished with satin paint. The same fluted detailing is repeated on the wall behind the wooden bench. Italian marble creates additional highlights on floor and walls, adding to the elegance of the experience.
The open office area is visually divided into three distinct parts with two aisles segregating them, and each leading to the lecture hall. One of the aisles opens into the four director/senior manager cabins. The open office accommodates about 40 marketing executives and the seminar/lecture hall has a capacity of about 75.
The material palette shifts from elegant luxury to pure utilitarian in the open office area with white vitrified tiles on the floor. The lecture hall has a wooden overall look in flooring and in the wall panelling around the dais. Each space has a specific look that caters to its function.
