We have been having fun with this. The top was originally resting on top of another unit and made it rather useless.
So when I had just chopped the legs off these gym horses and was wondering where to put the feet, I turned to this desk and got busy—here is the result.
So the top is from a 1920s French Industrial unit and the legs are from some 1940's Czech Republic pommel horses. All with masses of natural patina—structurally very sturdy. One of the legs is not perfectly straight.
Perfect as a greeter table / waiter station in a restaurant.
