The radiator is hand polished to a high sheen, revealing the cast iron's naturally pitted surface. Radiators in full polish are lacquered with Castrads RustBan to prevent oxidation of iron surface.

Polishing is a highly labour intensive process. For that reason we only polish those surfaces that will be seen. The rest, the part of the radiator that will face the wall, we leave black. This helps us keep the price you pay as low as possible. If all of the radiator will be seen please advise us and we will polish the whole radiator.
