In this design, a windbreak strategy was created to make this garden
located in an exposed windy area more useable. Beatiful slender aspens
were planted all around and the seating areas were involved in small
trees or shrubs as a double layer of protection. Railway sleepers were
used to create vertical interest and to make up garden furniture and
edging. A vegetable growing area to the front garden will give the
owners produce and lateral areas of meadow not only soften this narrow
spaces, but also help to attract the wildlife that the owners wanted in
the garden.
