The apartment was designed for a couple with a child. The main task was to create a cosy, modern interior, comfortable for life. Natural materials and natural colours came to the rescue.
The free layout and large footage allowed us to identify comfortable public and private areas: on one side of the hallway there is a living room, combined with a kitchen and dining room, and an office, on the other—the parental bedroom and children's room. Also, the project included three bathrooms: a bathroom, a guest bathroom, and a laundry room with a shower. The presence of a spacious dressing room did not save the built-in wardrobes in the bedroom and the nursery: we know that there is not much storage space.
In the process, we tried to combine classic motifs of finishing with details of loft styles and minimalism. So, the kitchen set and all storage cabinets are made in a modern minimalist interpretation: smooth facades, mostly with hidden or inconspicuous handles. The classic decoration of the dining area is diluted by a slab on balusters. The floor uses natural stone, slate. In the decoration of the bedroom walls, classic panels were used in combination with piece parquet and slats of different widths. The office is visually zoned into two parts: in the working area of the wall and the ceiling is concrete, they support the loft-style; in the sofa room, on the contrary, the classic design continues smooth white linen and grey wall panels framed by mouldings.
The interior turned out to be solid due to the colour palette, repeated in each room, and natural materials: wood, glass, stone and textiles in soft pastel shades.
