PEPL is a company promoted by cluster of textile industries for setting up CETP (Common Effluent Treatment Plant) for conveyance, treatment and disposal of waste water generated from such industries.
Set up for the motive of protection of the environment, it was necessary that planning, designing and interior of such an office is done in a manner that showcases its objective in a very easy manner. Thus nature inspired elements were depicted in several forms at the office.
‘Popcorn’ ceiling instead of false ceiling was used in majority of the areas for an acoustic, cost-effective and aesthetic look. Whereas large and small leaf cut-outs were used to elevate the drama in other areas.
Leaf shaped screen in the wall of waiting area gives a peep onto the other side of the wall. Whereas, a plant sapling is depicted on the side elevation of the reception table. Engraved leaf in the ceiling and tube lights fixed in PVC pipes are constant throughout the area. Also stone-cladded wall in the main cabin, conference table inspired by the ‘Recycle’ logo were some of the featured elements at the workspace.
