The house was designed with the concept to use nature-inspired elements and keep the chilled-out vibes of the weekend homes intact. Starting with the flooring, ‘Tandoor’ stones were used throughout the area for an earthy feel, whereas ‘Cane’ furniture added more to the effect. Even upholstery was kept in nature-inspired shades to complete the look. One of the major attention seeker in the living area was the sofa sitting made from ‘Railway Sleepers’ set into the cane furniture, upon a raised platform. Stone cladding on TV unit wall has been done to highlight the wall, yet keeping it subtle. During daytime, skylight from pergola works as a natural source of light that spreads across the living area, while warm yellow lanterns gave a sense of relaxation in the evening.
Bedrooms, on the other hand, had ‘Slate’ used as a major material. ‘Slate Veneer’ was used for flooring as well as on furniture. So, the site had a cozy and relaxing theme which suits a weekend vibe.
