Oscar is the new writing desk designed by Giorgio Bonaguro for Valsecchi 1918.
First the materials: solid woodand soft leather, at the same time.  Then the inspiration: on one hand the pad that always land on desks' surfaces to protect them, on the other hand the Architects tables (Oscar N., hence the name of the desk, was one of them!), always cluttered with paper and pencils. Here is Oscar desk: the wooden structure intentionally minimal combines with a brand new sub-floor leather, divided into three soft curves of different sizes: casual pockets to store drawings, notes, papers, or, for the less traditionalist, their tablet.
