The look and feel is “Contemporary Indian’ and contextual. It departs from the “waiting and dining room” syndrome of most airport lounges. The interior design synergies with the architecture of Terminal Two Mumbai International Airport.

Lighting is of 3 kinds, natural, ambient and decorative. The entire length of both lounges faces the air-side apron on the west. Consequently, it is well lit in the day. In fact, sheer curtains are drawn to avoid direct glare in the afternoons. Ambient light is achieved with LED down lighters which are dimmable. These are coordinated as per the reflected ceiling plan. There is soft cove lighting in the Business Class Lounge. The gold decorative ceiling in the First Class Lounge has in built lighting for visual effect. Decorative chandeliers are chased by Sandeep Khosla and made by Klove, so is the signature peacock light sculpture at the entrance. The 8 panel painting depicting the Lotus with a soft undertone, is a work by renowned Artist, Brinda Miller. The LED strips between each work forms a stunning composition which is visible from the duty free area.

Due to the consequence of the mildly curved shape of the lounges. The setting sun casts interesting shadows through the decorative screens. At night, the reflection of the indoor lights reflects in the large facade glass, almost twinkle, due to reflection, resulting in ethereal glow ad forms.
