Contemporary Roof Terrace and Balcony, London

After completing an extensive refurbishment of the interior of this property, our clients wished to execute a major overhaul of this London roof terrace and balcony. The roof terrace was part of an overall space shared by 3 flat owners, with each terrace sub-divided into their own distinct area. With this in mind, the clients did not seek total privacy however desired a slightly more intimate, personal space. Aralia created this intimate setting by introducing elements of screening, allowing the stunning views across London to be retained, without inducing complete privacy. Working with the clients wishes, Aralia designed a contemporary and cosmopolitan roof terrace that sits comfortably in the unique and quirky context of its historic school building.
