In this proposal there was a clear choice of marrying the modern aesthetics and art of design to the typicality and traditional outlook of small Indian homes. The furniture’s and the spaces it is placed in creates a very humble and a modest appeal, whereas the ceilings; the false ceilings, are the planes where maximum modern aestheticism has been rendered. The changing lighting pattern and the choice of exuberant shades of the ceiling lighting brings in a sense of freshness to the typicality of the given space.
