Modern, minimal and compact- three key features around which the design ideology revolves. The entire house has been designed as a single volume eliminating enclosures for individual spaces, puncturing the mass strategically to maximize daylight in the interiors, opening the house to fresh natural wind, thereby creating an introverted inward looking house that receives its natural lighting and ventilation mostly from skylights and openings into the double height spaces within the house. Internal balconies are another stand-out feature, promoting visual connectivity and interaction. Despite being a simple, clean design, the attention to detail is noteworthy.

Limited space has given rise to the use of large volumes in split levels, giving the illusion of larger spaces. The walls in the structure are parallel, giving a sense of depth to the structure and minimizing the use of walls in the perpendicular direction, allowing spaces to flow into one another without interruption. The heart of the home is the large open central courtyard which provides for interesting internal views. There are beautiful frames which capture natural light and vegetation along with the interior spaces in the house. Concentric circulation and movement of residents is always around this central courtyard – this ties together all the different aspects of the various spaces, creating a tight knit family atmosphere. A neutral colour scheme complements the urban landscape around the house ,adds to the elegance of the design.
