A lower maintenance garden includes plants that are native to the local area. These plants are already adapted to the conditions and as such require less maintenance, watering, cutting back and feeding. For a maintenance friendly garden combine these with simple grass sections and paved areas. This will create a pleasant and low maintenance garden.
