Today, we look at a modern and minimalist commercial design that was executed for the Yamuna View Hotel in Agra. This renovation project was completed by the interior architects at Tanish Dzignz, Gurgaon. The renovation was done within 30 days with everything put together and assembled on site. What impresses about the design is the balance in colour, texture and materials. Everything contributes to making the rooms look beautiful and inviting.
There is an excellent connection between blue and brown. The shades work exceptionally well together, and that is what the architects have banked on here. The abstract patterns on the wall behind the headboard accentuate the beauty of the light grey panel within the design.
The room has a bit of everything – a bed that looks luxurious and comfortable, a glass study desk and a view that you cannot beat! A closer look at the study table reveals that it rests on a pivoted leg on one side, which allows it to be moved and aligned against the wall if extra space is required. The drapes offer privacy while enhancing the appeal of the room.
Here, we see the room from another angle that shows the wall-mounted TV. It features a simple but stylish ledge that extends to serve as a side table in the seating area within the room. The walls have been kept bare and stark white, so the other elements stand out beautifully.
The room has a glass façade for the door of the bathroom, which makes the design quite modern and elegant. What makes the glass doors even more incredible is that they make the room look spacious and large. The wardrobe has been tucked away in the passageway. Overall, the room is not only appealing but also comfortable and pleasing to the eye.
The wood floors give a luxurious, warm and inviting feel to the room. The plush patterned carpet matches the shades of blue that are prominent in the room. What catches the eye is the shades of white and blue 3 D patterns that dot the space. The bed and headboard that reaches up to the ceiling grab attention as well.
Designing a grand foyer makes sure that you impress the guests even as they walk into the room. In this room, the entrance makes quite an impression, thanks to the beautiful marble wall feature, which showcases the traditional craftsmanship of the town, Agra. While on one side you get a breath-taking view of the intricate marble inlay work, the other side holds the wardrobe. The architects have used brown mirrors on the shutters to make the area look visually appealing and spacious.
