Food is the centre of our universe, and when it comes to restaurants, designers want to create an alluring dining space. Today’s tour takes us through Reddys Biryani Zone, which has been designed by the talented team of Interior Designers & Decorators at Spaces Alive in Pune. The entire design of the restaurant is intended to create an inviting family dining space that is open and bright. The colour palette is calming and peaceful, to set the guests and diners in a relaxed mood for enjoying their meal.
The façade is eye-catching. The first glimpse showcases a brilliant design that is trendy and keeps up with modern design concepts. The idea of using fencing in the front is smart. This way, the designers have succeeded in creating a dining space that is closed off without being completely cut off from the surroundings. The modern typeface used in the wooden signboard illuminates the restaurant’s name and makes it noticeable even for afar.
As we head inside, we are greeted with a wonderfully bright dining space. The hanging lamps, made from cast iron, look stylish and modern. The cast iron and wooden chairs and tables are lightweight, so guests find it easy to seat themselves. However, the design of these chairs and tables is quite elegant and stylish as well. One of the walls has beautiful cast iron décor art with multicolour lights that brighten up the entire space.
Looking at another area of the restaurant, we see that the designers have incorporated some beautiful Indian motifs into the design. On one wall, we have two different tapestries hanging, both of which are brightly coloured. They liven up the space. Next, we have a beautiful artwork made up of traditional tiles on the adjoining wall. The use of charming motifs helps to improve the ambience of the restaurant so that diners feel comfortable when they eat.
Our tour of the gorgeous restaurant concludes with one more beautiful corner that we will explore. The handpainted mural on the wall shoes the outline of a city skyline. The idea of using a shaded blue background with white paint to sketch out the buildings creates a stunning image. The use of mirrors and glass throughout the restaurant also creates the illusion of amplitude within the interiors. A point to note is that the chairs and tables are placed at comfortable distance from each other to allow the staff to serve each table easily and to provide diners easy access to their seats. Before we leave, let’s take one last look at the gorgeous glass lamps hanging from the ceiling. They cast a soft and beautiful glow over each table to add a touch of magic to the ambience.
