This residence at Khanapara is the result of the teamwork by Rishika Interior & Developer (P) Ltd., Interior Designers & Decorators in Guwahati. In today’s home tour, we will be looking at some before after pictures of the home, along with some stunning design and décor. Let’s start our tour of this beautiful, spacious home.
The home office is designed in neutral and light colours in order to create a calming atmosphere. The white used in the entire room looks beautiful, especially with the ceiling high shelves. The sloped roof design is accentuated by the black design in the centre.
Here, we see the before and after pictures of one of the bedrooms in the house. The actual room has a large window, with an in-built seating arrangement. The corner also has some fixtures, that will be used in the design. In the final image, we see that the seating arrangement now has a seating cushion and throw pillows. There are curtains as well. The wall behind the bed has wallpaper and a leather upholstered bedhead.
The master bedroom’s initial design also included some wooden furniture and a large window. The designers have utilised the space in the best possible way by creating a comfortable Indian style seating arrangement. The corner beside the window has been turned into a dressing area. The wooden flooring adds elegance to the room’s design.
The dining room has been completely transformed. From a bare space with just a window, we now have a stylish room with modern décor and light fittings. One of the walls of the dining area has been transformed into a utilitarian wall, with multiple shelves and cabinets. This space has become perfect for storing and displaying crockery or as a table while serving guests.
The living room has also undergone quite a transformation. The artistic ceiling design with neon lighting is quite unique. Then, we have the wall of wood, which holds the TV and a beautiful, white wall-mounted cabinet. The furniture is arranged in order to provide maximum view of the TV. The centre table is placed on top of a classy grey woven rub. As we can see, the house has open layout, since the living area leads directly to the dining area.
Here, we have a close glimpse of the design of the house. The before and after pictures show us what difference some finishing can make. In the picture above, we have a rough version of the design. And in the second picture, we see the stylish wooden steps with base lighting. The stairs up to the house and looking at the design of these steps, we are sure that anyone visiting the home will be excited to see what is in the house.
