While the architectural structure of a home is critical for a house, the interiors and the décor is what truly makes it a home. The Interior designers and decorators of Honeybee Interior Designers in Bangalore have created an eclectic mix of elements, textures using a riot of colours. Despite this varied approach, the home looks cozy, comfortable and well balanced. Artificial lighting has also played an important role in transforming this space into a wonderful relaxing haven for friends and family.
The glossy finish of the floor tiles reflects the beauty of the walls and the ceiling. Using a soft and neutral colour palette, an interesting passage has been created. One of the other impressive things about this design is the use of a combination of textures.
Using a brick-effect, the designers have accentuated this wall along the passage. A simple and lovely miniature picket-fence along with flowers sits on the floor. This not only brightens the space but it is the most unique and unusual design element.
A smaller portion of the room has been dedicated to the living area. The distinction has been created without dividing the space. A patterned floor, eclectic mix of modern furniture and traditional style seating along with rustic pillars has contributed to giving this room its unique and interesting identity.
This is a simple dining room setup and despite its prominently modern design, it seems to fit in wonderfully well with the entire theme. Wood arches, beams, and cabinets have been used throughout the room and ceiling to give the home a rustic and ethnic feel.
A small section of the room has been dedicated for the ‘mandir’ and while the design is unusual, it looks wonderfully serene and exceptional. The dark wood façade is dotted with everything you would associate with a puja room and that is what makes it special and divine.
Taupe colour dominates the theme in this kitchen. In fact, the room has been designed so it looks spacious yet completely functional and effective. A simplistic panel of a brick-like façade gives the modern kitchen a traditional twist. A wonderfully well-equipped pantry has been designed on one side of the kitchen.
Soft and subtle is how you would describe this space as it has a wonderful elegance which is understated yet attractive. The wall tiles are printed yet it does not disturb the beauty or the simplicity of the design.
The bedroom is elegant and features everything you would ever need in a relaxing room. A beautiful light hangs right above the dresser cum chest of drawers. A wonderful printed wallpaper behind the simplistic bed has been made dramatic thanks to the addition of a large mirror.
