Mr. Nataraja’s residence is an ode to modern design. The home is designed by Geometrixs Architects & Engineers, Architects in Bangalore. The home has two floors, and each floor has been designed carefully to maintain continuity in the overall design. Each room in this house gives off a comfortable vibe tinged with a hint of sophisticated elegance. So let’s take a tour!
First impressions are the last impressions, and this house creates a fantastic first impression. The elevation itself looks stunning, with the use of modern materials and clean lines in the design. The idea behind the elevation is quite visible, with each level begin segregated in the exterior.
As you enter the home, the first glimpse is that of a gorgeous star-shaped design on the ceiling. The well-lit doorway is perfect to warmly welcome anyone into the home. The entire house has various deigns wherein wooden panels have been used in the ceilings and on the walls to create something extraordinary.
As we saw on the outside, the house has multiple levels. Here, we see the double-heighted ceiling. The foyer looks up into the ceiling. The beautiful wooden furniture has been handmade by artisans to fit the design of this house. The railing on the upper balcony is simple and elegant, made with wood and glass.
The living area uses a beautiful grain of wood. It has been polished to give it this beautiful brown colour. The wooden panel will hold the wall-mounted TV. There is a glass and wood cabinet mounted on the side for display or storage purposes. There is also a set of shelves on the bottom for extra storage of TV accessories.
This beautiful panel is slightly different. The same grain of wood has been designed differently. There is a geometric design that is featured throughout the panel. The wooden shelf is a great place for displaying pictures. As you can see, the rest of the wall and ceiling have been kept simple.
From here, we see the simplicity in design. The top floor mostly has the various bedrooms, and the design is relatively simple. The highlight of this home is how wood ahs been used in different ways.
An example of the fantastic design in this home is this wardrobe. It was crafted by hand, and polished to create this zigzag design and stylish wooden handles.
The kitchen is another extension of the stunning design. The black and white marble flooring is stylish, and accompanying that is the textured tiled white walls with the black marble countertop.
The ceiling design is beautiful. Wooden panels with a laser cut design and glass panels create this stunning effect. It is always great to have sunshine filtering into the house. The designers have decided to use a simple and elegant lamp with a twisting design instead of a crystal chandelier in order to highlight the rest of the design.
The last look of the house shows the beautiful trees surrounding the house and the different colours used in the façade, along with a combination of materials.
