This gorgeous home Sharada, by Sandarbh Design Studio is an exquisite work of art. Designed by these architects in Bangalore, this home is a beautiful example of modern design that is close to nature. The design is exquisite; the material used is wood throughout the house, along with other sustainable materials. Let’s take a tour of this fantastic home.
A carved wooden plank marks the entry to the home. The beautiful nameplate is an indication of how beautiful the home is going to be. The handmade and hand carved wooden plank looks absolutely perfect.
As we mentioned before, the entire house has furniture made entirely from beautiful polished wood. The beautiful lighting is perfect for an evening party. The stairway leads from the top floor to the ground floor in a grand shape. The beautiful wooden staircase was crafted and assembled with the best quality wood.
The staircase we saw in the previous picture has a small corner decorated with some beautiful artefacts. We have the beautiful masks that have been sourced from traditional Indian villages hanging on the wall. The beautiful wooden cabinet has a wooden and glass decoration. The middle of the wooden cabinet has a criss-cross pattern, which is actually a wine holder. Multiple bottles will fit in here. There are beautiful statues that decorate the top of the drawer.
The top view from the staircase gives a better view of the foyer of the house. The first floor is more of a seating area, with beautiful wooden furniture in unique shapes. There is also a beautiful indoor plant in the centre of the staircase. We see that there are quite a few different articles that are placed throughout the house.
The living area is quite stunning. We have a beautiful view of the surrounding garden from the French windows. The barn style roof has wooden beams throughout the ceiling. There are two hanging lamps and a fan fitted on the ceiling as well. Wooden flooring, along with the wooden cabinet on one side adds elegance to the whole design. Elegant white sofas decorate one part of the living room, while an Indian style seating arrangement placed on the other side of the room.
This is a great view of the entryway of the house. The entry path is filled with big stones that create a pathway. There are beautiful plants decorating the garden and the pathway. There is a beautiful wooden roof that protects the door to the house. A small bench is placed right in the entryway, so that one can rest and enjoy natural beauty.
The dining are of this house also features a stunning wooden dining table and chairs. The entire room has wooden cabinets, wooden shelves and a seating arrangement on one side. The soft lighting in the room creates a perfect dining atmosphere.
The bookshelf in this house has a beautiful arrangement of the shelves. The back lighting, the use of different artefacts and just the overall placement of books look gorgeous.
