The very talented architects at Space Alchemists designed this fantastic bungalow for Mr. Sawant in Pune. The overall design is very modern, and stays true to the brief given by the client. The extensive use of wood in the bungalow makes it look extremely rich and stylish. The outer elevation is the perfect bird’s eye view into the layout of this stunning bungalow. Ready to take a look? Let’s do it!
The first glimpse of the home is quite impressive. The exterior uses cement, wood and glass to create a gorgeous design. We love the use of bricks in the exterior, since it gives the outside of the home an industrial finish. The lighting is also great, since it illuminates the parking space.
The patio in the back is decorated beautifully. Any person living here would definitely not feel like they are living in a metro city. The whole decor transports one into a mountain resort. The deck is made up entirely of dark, polished wood. There are a few deck chairs and a table as well to relax. Long palm trees decorate the perimeter of the backyard.
The decorators have created a plan, which does not crowd one room beside the other. There is ample free space to move around or play around, if one wishes to. The parking spot has enough room to man oeuvre the car and offer parking space to guest’s cars. There is ample plantation throughout the house to make sure the surroundings of the house remain cool, even in the heat.
The outer view of the house is spectacular. We love the way the whole house has been structured. The exterior shows us how the garage and parking have been designed skillfully to ensure there is open area in the front. The terrace has solar panels to ensure environmentally friendly consumption of energy. The exterior uses glass, cement and stunning red bricks in order to separate the levels and the parts of the modern house.
The facade is modern and has an industrial style finish. There is also an element of minimalism in the entire structure. The walls are made of cement and painted a simple grey colour. The main gate of the house is made of wood and metal, and compliments the cement perfectly.
There is a separate area on the side of the house that offers another relaxation spot. Our favorite part about this design is the separator that uses bamboo sticks to create a wall where planters can be hanged. A set of deck chairs and a table have also been provided here.
The other view from the backyard shows us the back of the house. From here, we see the beautiful glass windows, the comfy furniture, along with the array of colours used to pain the exterior of the house. The combination of white and cream, with green, maroon and red bricks present a stunning visual. What is the perfect colour for the facade of my house?
