Space can often be an issue for city dwellers; in the larger cities across the globe population increase has made city centre property expensive and in high demand. Paris is certainly no exception. France’s capital has been ranked by ‘Forbes’ magazine as the world’s third most influential city, and thanks to its status it has become notoriously over-crowded and expensive.

Given this context it can be difficult to find a suitably spacious apartment, but today we’re bringing you a glimpse into one such residence that really makes the most of the available area. Let’s take a look…

Warm and welcoming

This lovely living room space boasts a bold colour scheme of pastel blue walls and colourful fabrics set against the light wooden tones of the floor and beige sofa. The effect is to create an upbeat, welcoming atmosphere in a style that’s hard to pin down. We see how the space has been maximised by the handy wall mounted cabinets for extra storage and the sofa sitting neatly against the wall.

Window to the wall

Wall-to-wall windows flood the open-plan area with light; making it feels more spacious while providing almost panoramic views of the city outside.

This modern living space is quite unique in its décor; the bright colours hint at eclectic style, whereas the abundance of light wooden tones and style of the furniture suggest Scandinavian design – without the essential minimalist elements.

What does the kitchen have in store?

The amply sized kitchen features an overwhelming abundance of storage thanks to the wall-to-wall cupboards and cabinetry separated by fashionable subway tiles. The kitchen appliances – just out of view here – are neatly integrated into the counter increasing the amount of open space in this roomy kitchen.

Décor for a DJ

The bedroom boasts a bountiful record collection that’s been displayed on vast shelving in an ornate way; creating a focal point for the room. The room’s bright colours and unconventional artwork combine with the record collection to create a cool, youthful ambiance and unique style.

Bewildering bathroom of bronze coloured tiles

The interior designers have gone tile wild in creating this beautiful, bronze coloured bathroom that echoes the home’s overall colourful style and continues the musical theme with a framed magazine cover featuring musician, David Bowie.
