A little bit of greenery always manages to spruce up a home, a garden or a terrace. When less space is available one can choose to have a vertical garden which in turn will save a lot of space and provide a gardening area to work with. Then the only task left is to choose the types of plants to grow: eatable, ornamental or the blooming kind. Here are a few vertical garden possibilities to inspire all.
Wood pallet garden
With a small area to work with such as the balcony space allotted in this picture, a vertical garden made with wooden pallets is a clever space saver. Since there is much available space to use overhead in this picture, the wood pallet is a tall one that can accommodate many varieties of plants. This type of vertical gardening is marvellously adapted to its space allowance as well as providing an array of different shades of green from the plants in it.
Accordeon garden
Can a self-standing vertical garden exist? Absolutely so, as shown in this picture. The movability of this vertical garden is an asset not to be forgotten as well as its amusing shape. Once more the vertical aspect of this garden provides more space to live in wether it is in or outside. The space available for the plants is also a bonus factor that offers to have more plants to grow.
Potted garden
Here is another vertical garden option that can be installed inside the home or outdoors. Three coloured pot holders have been mounted to the wall one above the other. Once again, space is saved by using an available area on the wall and mounting the pot holders above each other. Also, the different colours of the holders bring a hint of merriment to the area they are in.
Suspended plants
An ingenious idea is on display in this picture. The designer of this suspended greenery option has decided to hang potted plants by suspending them on a fabrication that resembles that of a swing. The suspended plants are placed in a hole so to not fall over and be kept in place. One can place a few of these imaginative and lively coloured suspended plant holders.
Waterfall of greenery
This image shows several conic pots assembled one on top of each other that has been designed by FunctionalDesign. When completed, this installation looks like a waterfall of greenery. This procures a wide range of potting space to choose from as well as making a lovely decorating item. This waterfall of greenery is sure to enliven any garden it stands in.
Hanging plants
Another cheerful inspiration for a home garden is one shown in this picture. A multitude of plants have been potted in baskets to then be hung on a wall that has a metal grid mounted to it. One only has to hang a plant in a basket on a rope or thread that will be help to the metal grid by a hook. The plants can be hung at different heights and in various spots by opting for different thread lengths.
